Hello Blockmason community! We're excited to share this week's Weekly Update. It's packed with development news, airdrop information, new team members and a ton of other behind-the-scenes updates.

We have a lot to catch you up on, so let's get started!

Lndr development update + version 1.1

As you know, Lndr is our peer-to-peer expense sharing app that uses the Credit Protocol and the Ethereum blockchain to create, manage and settle casual debts and IOUs between friends. We're hard at work developing Lndr as we believe it is the premier showcase of how the Credit Protocol can be used commercially.

Some of the major features coming in version 1.1:

  • Multi-currency debt settlement: in the next version of Lndr, users will be able to record and settle debts and IOUs in different currencies! Up until now, you've only been able to create and settle a debt obligation in your local currency. In v1.1, you will be able to record and settle these obligations in different currencies, which will be useful if you are traveling abroad or have friends using Lndr in other countries.

  • Ten new languages: Arabic, Czech, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Russian, Turkish, Thai and Vietnamese

V1.1 is in final testing now, so you can expect this update to be released soon.
Remember, if you're interested in staying up-to-date with Lndr development you can always view the latest Lndr development updates on Github.

You can download Lndr for iOS on the App Store and Lndr for Android on the Google Play Store.

Blockmason at conferences + events

Over the past couple of months the Blockmason team has been actively promoting our company and the Credit Protocol at a variety of conferences and events.

Blockmason was one of the key participants and sponsors at Token Fest's founding event, March 15th, 2018 at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco.

Our team presented the Credit Protocol, demonstrated how it works and explained its many use cases to the crowd in attendance. Our CEO, Michael Chin, also spoke about the importance of tokenization & decentralization for enterprises alongside other industry experts such as Thomas France, Co-Founder of Ledger.

Check out our Token Fest highlights video on YouTube here:

We were also a sponsor of CoinDesk's Consensus 2018 conference May 14-16, 2018 at the Hilton Midtown in New York. If you were there, you may have seen some of our banners around the conference:
